Pedders Coil Spring

Pedders Coil Springs jsou prémiovou řadou pružin Pedders pro různé aplikace. Vyrobeny podle standardů ISO 9001 s tolerancí pouze +/-2 mm na zatížené výšce. Pedders Coil Springs jsou jednoduše bezkonkurenční z hlediska jízdních vlastností, vzhledu vozidla a výkonu. Návrh a výroba vinutých pružin je řemeslo vyžadující přesné dodržování náročných postupů, které jsou všechny klíčové pro výkon finálního produktu.

Tvrdost pružiny musí být přizpůsobena hmotnosti vozidla, která na ní spočívá, a také hmotnosti ostatních komponentů zavěšení a kola. Tvrdost pružiny také ovlivňuje tuhost náklonu karoserie. Snížením náklonu karoserie omezujeme změnu odklonu kola. Velká změna odklonu může výrazně zmenšit kontakt pneumatiky s vozovkou, což výrazně omezuje jízdní schopnosti v zatáčkách.

Jízdní vlastnosti většiny vozidel se výrazně zlepšují zvýšením původní tvrdosti pružiny na optimální úroveň, která maximalizuje přilnavost pneumatik a snižuje náklon karoserie pro lepší ovladatelnost. Zvýšení tvrdosti pružiny nad optimální úroveň naopak snižuje jízdní potenciál, protože pneumatiky začínají přes skoky klouzat, což snižuje přilnavost a bezpečnost.
